This is a straight forward survival list of things I use daily, nightly, weekly and monthly to keep the system, physically and emotionally in sync. I have a lot of people asking me about supplements and oils I use to keep it all under control. Nothing beats the daily practise of yoga and a ritual of positive potent words used as daily mantras to keep stress at bay but I have found the combination, I am about to share, to be quite phenomenal
I have found that aromatherapy and coconut oil surround me with the sweetest most healing smells and I have used a few of my concoctions to support my PMT and Thyroid Function. I also have a special one for the neck and the face but to focus on anti-stress my favs are mentioned below.
As well as keeping the mind and body at ease, I am also an avid user of incense to keep my surroundings smelling organically gorgeous and to clear any left over energy threads from life's daily negativity.
So here are some of my favourite supplements for the nervous system, stamina and general wellbeing. Use the products sensibly and please read disclaimer
MORINGA - one of the most nutrient rich plants - for rejuvination, immunity, muscle growth, anti-stress, digestion, vision, bones, teeth and the reduction of fatigue
5HTP for the production of seratonin (feel good hormones)
ASHWAGANDA - one of he most potent of Ayurvedic healing herbs - for cell regenaration, anti-inflammatory, anxiety and depression
VITAMIN B-Complex and MAGNESIUM to replenish lost nutrients during times of high stress,
ASTRALAGUS for immune system and lowering cortisol levels (stress hormones)
ASHOKA (Ashoka tree is considered sacred throughout Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka. It has strong religious associations, with Buddhists and Hindus) for joint pain and gynaecological issues
And the super sonic TURMERIC which is one of the most potent reversal of disease. This is thought to go beyond anti-inflammatory drugs, anti-depressants, pain killers, diabetes drugs, inflammatory bowel drugs and steroids
When the system is under stress and pressure, it tends to become more acidic so I alkalise by drinking apple cider vinegar or taking daily capsules
